Precautions for the use of stainless steel screw pumps

1. It is strictly forbidden for the screw pump to run idly when there is no liquid in the pump chamber. Before starting, the screw pump must be started by injecting the liquid into the pump body from the pump inlet, so as to avoid idling wear and tear of the screw pump stator. To get more news about Screw pump rotor you can visit hw-screwpump.com official website.
2. Before starting the screw pump, the running direction of the screw pump must be determined first, and the screw pump cannot be reversed.
3. The screw pump that is newly installed or has been stopped for several days for a long time cannot be started immediately. It is also necessary to inject an appropriate amount of lubricant or the liquid delivered by the screw pump into the pump body, and then use a pipe wrench to move the screw pump for a few turns before it can be started.
4. After the stainless steel screw pump conveys high-viscosity liquids or corrosive media, the pump cavity of the screw pump should be flushed with water or solvent to prevent blockage and avoid damage to the stator when it is difficult to start the screw pump next time.
5. In winter, when the temperature of the single-screw pump is low, the pump volume should be removed when it is not in use, so as to prevent the pump body from freezing and cracking or freezing in the pump, and the stator will be damaged when the pump is started next time.
6. Lubricating oil should be added to the bearing box regularly during use. When there is seepage at the shaft end, it is necessary to deal with or replace the oil seal in time.
7. If any abnormality occurs during operation, the pump should be stopped immediately to check the cause and eliminate the fault.
