2K23 comes with a massive open-world portal online called The City that lets players explore and complete quests, shop in the stores, and even train. Rather than talking about its latest features NBA 2K MT, gamers have taken to social media to talk about their findings of the most bizarre commercial spot on NBA 2K23, a cameo of insurance the mascot Jake of State Farm.

 

It is the NBA 2K series is known for its ability to let fans build their own basketball stars in MyCareer mode. The game starts at an amateur level and allows them to work their climb to the top of the NBA by accomplishing missions and completing quests.

 

Reappearing to NBA 2K23 is MyCareer mode, which allows players to explore an online hub where they can create their own character through a basketball journey from the court into an open-world town to become the next NBA superstar.

 

As part of the journey, players can also explore shops and alter their characters. Like all other NBA 2K title is riddled with microtransactions. Moreover, the best cosmetics are exclusive to purchase.

 

According to Kotaku The players have begun to discover an in-game promotional spot to promote State Farm insurance. The storefront of NBA 2K23 in The City has received an entirely new section dedicated to State Farm and one quest on MyCareer will see the player given the task of talking to the company's mascot, Jake.

 

The character has appeared in numerous commercials before, Jake from State Farm is back with an NBA 2K23 cameo. Motion-captured by the actor who originally played Jake Cheap 2K23 MT, Jake welcomes players to the neighborhood in a State Farm uniform that he refers to as "drip".
