How to Fix Epson Printer Error Code E0-1

  • Power Cycle

Step 1 – Unplug the Power Cable

First of all, turn off the printer to unplug the power cable from the wall outlet for a minimum of 5 minutes.
Then Power on the printer to perform a proper check whether this issue is still present or not.
Step 2 – Work with Transportation Lock

As per instructions given by Epson Printer Support engineers, the transportation lock removal is essential to perform. Make sure to carefully store the transportation lock.

Step 3 – Work with the CD tray

In the case, the CD tray is in the eject position then make sure that you have pressed the CD tray button to drawback it to its storage position. Be careful with the tray, not push or even pull the CD tray into another position. Turn off the printer to make sure that the paper is not at all jammed inside the unit section.

Step 4 – Dismantling the Epson Printer

When the cartridge is not running then get access to the cartridge loading area and move it away from the stop. Simply dismantle the printer and clean up all the optical sensors, encoder strip, paper feed sensors as well as disc encoder.
