When I press F4 while ES is running it will show the name of the sheep being played [eg. 245.03314 (Edge) or 245.03397 (Loop)] (or at least I'm assuming those are their names). Often, there will be several Edges that play in a row that are not "connected" to any Loops at all. This makes it look like it is just jumping from one transition to another to another to another etc... I always seem to see WAY more Edges than Loops.
This might be a dumb question, but would it be possible to get rid of the Edges entirely and process the transitions between two sheep dynamically as they are playing? I have no idea how much processing power this might take, but if someone has a setup that is able to keep up it would make ES seem a lot more fluid and enjoyable. You could mix/match sheep from any generation in any order without having to worry about skips in the playback.
