So... what resolutions can we look forward to with the Gold Sheep? Any ETA for their release? What kind of subscription fee are we going to be looking at?

In the past I have been so wrong about when it might be done that I just don't want to say anything.
I will say though that instead of trying to do it myself I hired a firm that has more time and experience with this kind of thing than I do and they are really good: http://zendigital.com/. With Zen's help I am optimistic on delivering this time. The Android app has already been updated.
One thing I'm really looking forward to, or hoping can happen with the subscription service, is that the Sheep can start supporting development financially with lots of small contributions. I'll never be able to buy something like the Dreams in High Fidelity, but I'd certainly subscribe to them as I do to Pandora, a few dollars a month -- and it doesn't take a huge proportion of the dedicated followers of the Sheep doing that before you can actually have developers working full time.... which will be great for the entire ecosystem!
Thank God!!! I have had electic sheep for years now! I was always wondering. I agree it must be such an effort to compile such an extreme amount of data. I can't even fathom the amount of calculations that this program performs. If there was some type of subscription service and the people that subscribe can commit a little extra bandwidth than everyone else I would be down to help with these monsters :) But then I could be entirely wrong all together... :\
